EPLAN Implementation Engineer (Applicant Engineer)

We are seeking an experienced EPLAN Implementation Engineer (Contract) to lead the complete rollout of EPLAN Electric P8 and related EPLAN modules for our LV & MV switchgear design operations. The candidate will be responsible for end‑to‑end implementation, including knowledge transfer from our factory in Turkey, system setup, standardization, automation, template creation, and training of our engineering team.

This role requires strong hands‑on experience in EPLAN implementation within the switchgear or electrical panel manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End‑to‑End EPLAN Implementation

• Lead the full deployment of EPLAN software within the Jakarta facility.

• Coordinate with the Turkey team to capture existing configurations, libraries, templates, and workflows.

• Set up EPLAN project structures, device libraries, macros, templates, and naming conventions aligned with corporate standards.

• Ensure interoperability with existing production and documentation systems.

2. Knowledge Transfer & Best Practice Adoption

• Conduct detailed sessions with the Turkey engineering team to understand:

  • Existing EPLAN project setups

  • Bill of Materials (BOM) workflows

  • Panel wiring standards

  • Deployment processes

  • Automation scripts/macros

3. Training & Capability Building

• Train the entire design team (junior & senior engineers) on:

  • EPLAN Electric P8 fundamentals

  • Advanced EPLAN features (macros, scripting, databases, device tagging, PLC integration)

  • LV & MV switchgear design workflows in EPLAN

4. Standardization & Optimization

• Develop company‑specific design standards for LV and MV panels within EPLAN.

5. Project Management & Reporting

• Create an implementation roadmap with clear milestones and deliverables.

6. Post‑Implementation Support

• Support engineering teams during initial live projects.
  

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• 5+ years experience in switchgear/panel engineering using EPLAN Electric P8.

• Proven track record of implementing EPLAN systems in a manufacturing environment.

• Expert-level knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8, including:

  • Macros & scripting

  • Device libraries

  • Panel layout & wiring diagrams

  • Project templates

  • EPLAN database management

• Familiarity with LV & MV switchgear standards (IEC 61439, IEC 62271).

• Hands‑on knowledge of components (Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Eaton).

• Excellent communication skills for cross-border collaboration.

• Ability to train and mentor engineers at different skill levels.

• Problem-solving and documentation skills.
