  • To know and understand every menu/dish of the restaurant;

Responsibilities:

1?. Customer Service & Guest Relations

  • Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus and explain daily specials or promotions.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders.
  • Provide recommendations based on menu knowledge.
  • Ensure guests’ needs are attended to promptly and professionally.
  • Handle customer inquiries and minor complaints courteously.

2?. Order Handling & Service Execution

  • Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.
  • Serve food and beverages according to company service standards.
  • Check orders before serving to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct follow-up table checks during dining.

3?. Table & Dining Area Management

  • Set up tables before opening (utensils, condiments, napkins).
  • Clear and reset tables quickly after guests leave.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area.
  • Monitor dining floor during peak hours.

4?. Cash Handling & Billing

  • Present bills accurately and process payments.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments properly.
  • Issue official receipts.
  • Ensure proper turnover of collections at end of shift.

5?. Sanitation & Compliance

  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Observe personal hygiene and proper uniform policy.
  • Clean service stations and equipment.
  • Comply with company SOPs and local health regulations.

6?. Teamwork & Communication

  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow.
  • Attend daily briefings and meetings.
  • Support other service staff when needed.
  • Report issues or incidents to supervisor immediately.

7?. Opening & Closing Duties

  • Assist in pre-opening preparations.
  • Restock service supplies (cutlery, tissue, condiments).
  • Perform end-of-shift cleaning and checklist tasks.
  • Secure assigned area before leaving.


Experience:

  1. Previous Experience in Customer Service or Food Service: at least 1 year of previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is required.
  2. Training: On-the-job training is typically provided to familiarize crew members with the restaurant’s procedures, menu, and customer service standards.
