The category-defining company uses technology to divert all food waste with maximum environmental and social impact.
Job Summary
This is a high-trust, high-ownership, high agency remote role working directly alongside the Founder to drive both day-to-day operations and strategic growth initiatives, while providing operational support to the client’s core team in Singapore. Designed for a talented, sharp and adaptable startup generalist who enjoys solving complex problems and wants a rare, front-row seat to growing a top-class WasteTech start-up, this position balances core business administrative tasks with creative marketing and system optimization. We are seeking an individual with strong digital fluency who thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with a steep learning curve, takes full accountability for their outcomes, and executes tasks with exceptional attention to detail. There is zero tolerance for micromanagement here—you must be a self-starter ready to own your workflows from day one. You won’t be handed a narrow job description. You’ll be a versatile project owner, someone who sees what needs to be done and does it before being asked. What ties it all together is a relentless focus on growing the business and making it more productive every single week. We’re looking for someone who is hungry, structured, and execution-obsessed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client and Partner Management
- Provide end-to-end service to clients while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage client and partner accounts, including onboarding, relationship management, and regular check-ins to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Track and follow up with potential partners and clients, including outreach, scheduling calls, taking notes, and following up on all relevant items.
- Prepare and send proposals and commercial agreements to prospective and existing clients and partners, ensuring professional follow-up.
- Manage day-to-day email and messaging communications with clients, partners, and other stakeholders with exceptional written and spoken English.
2. Operations and Systems
- Provide operational support to client's Singapore core team
- Coordinate and manage projects with clients, partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain and improve operational processes, internal tools, and workflows to support efficient, reliable operations.
- Support systems for volunteer coordination in collaboration with the Singapore team, ensuring operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Solve day-to-day operational problems and ensure priorities are executed efficiently.
3. Finance Administration
- Track invoices, outgoing payments, and incoming payments from clients.
- Maintain simple financial records and payment tracking with meticulous attention to detail.
- Coordinate with the founder on financial follow-ups and related client communication where needed.
4. Growth and Marketing
- Maintain a coherent brand and marketing presence across online platforms, including the website and social media.
- Create and schedule high-impact social media content, utilizing AI productivity tools to accelerate marketing output and growth experiments.
- Support outreach and engagement activities with partners and prospects, including the development of basic marketing assets and communications.
5. Founder Support and General Administration
- Handle operational, administrative, and coordination tasks, including company presentations, calendar management, lead tracking, grant/award management, invoicing, and documentation.
- Implement new initiatives, processes, and systems to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate with a degree in Tech, Management, or an Engineering related field preferred.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years into your career, with a track record of outperforming in a high-performance environment, whether that’s a startup, scale-up, consulting, investment banking, or anything in between. Prior startup experience or a proven startup mindset is required, you must be comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment without needing constant corporate hand-holding.
- Language Skills: Professional written and spoken English is mandatory for stakeholder management, calls, and business documentation.
- Digital Fluency: Strong tech background or deep digital fluency. You should thoroughly understand how systems and digital architectures connect and work together, rather than just knowing how to use standard software tools.
- AI Fluency: Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, multiply personal productivity, output, and workflow speed, and unlock creative solutions across the business.
- Mindset and values alignment: Highly organized, execution-driven, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver with sound judgement who welcomes ownership and direct accountability. Able to prioritise in fast-moving environments with shifting demands. Strong people skills with the ability to build trust and manage stakeholders. Strong business judgement and communication skills. Ambitious, eager to grow alongside a scaling company. Be ready to handle anything thrown at you, from strategic projects to operational firefighting.
