KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages the preparation and analysis of the budget, revenue, financial forecasts, and report variances to continuously look for opportunities to improve margins.
2. Oversees all finance and accounting operations including Cash Flow Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Manages the preparation of regulatory reporting and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings.
5. Prepares project Management Information System Reports to be sent to stakeholders at defined frequency.
6. Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
7. Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies and ensures appropriate financial controls are in place to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
8. Alerts Management for critical areas including new business for commercial and tax aspects. Works on Risk and Benefit analysis to assist Management in decision making process.
9. Manages internal and external audits.
10. Works closely with the commercial team on client profitability and looking at tools to improve cash flow
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Safeguards company assets & economics in terms of image and reputation as well as other physical assets or forms from both tangible and intangible losses.
2. Ensures maximum confidentiality at all times of all facets of ATPI intelligence, properties, practices
3. Complies with all multi-tasking functions when needed towards the over-all betterment of the company.
4. Performs special projects and tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or financial management
· Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant/Association of Chartered Certified Accountant is an advantage
Experience:
· Minimum 10 years of managing Accounting and/or Finance functions.
· Experience in Travel Industry is an advantage.
Skills:
· Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
· Proficient in MS Office with excellent Excel knowledge and high-end capability in MIS Reporting
· Excellent people management skill with distinctive ability to motivate and influence people
· Excellent time management and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
· Proficient communication skills. Must possess the ability to communicate with and explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
