This is an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Solution Design Assistant Manager to join the talented team at PT Samsung SDS Global SCL Indonesia. As part of our full-time team, you will be responsible for providing strategic logistics solutions to our clients in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry. What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with the logistics design team to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for clients

  • Analysing client requirements and proposing optimal warehousing, storage and distribution strategies

  • Overseeing the implementation of logistics solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget

  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of logistics solutions, identifying areas for improvement

  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their evolving needs

  • Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the logistics design team

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a logistics design or supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex logistics challenges

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to clients and senior stakeholders

  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing, storage and distribution operations, including relevant regulations and best practices

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee the successful implementation of logistics solutions

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
