Task & Responsibilities:
Ensure vessels fully comply with Class/Flag state regulations, International conventions, and internal ISM Code standards.
Assist the DPA/A.DPA in implementing and maintaining compliance with ISM and ISPS code procedures.
Conduct SIRE, SRC, Class, and Internal ISM Audits. Prepare effective responses and corrective actions for Observations/NCs.
Ensure strict SOLAS compliance (LSA/FFA compliance to MSC.1 Circ.1432, MSC.402(96), and other latest updates).
Training crew members on company ISM code and SMS manuals, ensure timely submission of all vessel reports.
Prepare and submit comprehensive technical/compliance reports for managers and directors.
Qualifications:
Polytechnic or University degree in a Maritime-related field from a reputable institution (Diplomas/Degrees in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering are highly preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in marine audits and inspections, or as a Marine/Technical Superintendent.
Core Skills:
Strong knowledge of IMO, SOLAS, and MARPOL regulations.
Deep familiarity with the ISM Code, marine vetting, and engineering expertise.
Proven track record in performing SIRE, SRC, and Class survey audits.
A strong team player who is adaptable, analytical, a logical thinker, and continuously willing to learn.
