Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and ensure accuracy in documentation.
Vendor Management: Maintain and update relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and vendors. Request and compare supplier quotations to negotiate the best value for money.
Inventory & Tracking: Monitor stock levels, track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, and assist with periodic stock audits.
Administrative Support: Update purchasing databases, spreadsheets, and files. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (such as finance and warehouse teams) to ensure seamless receiving and invoice payments.
Market Research: Monitor industry pricing and market trends to aid in cost-effective decision-making
