Job Summary
The Area Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational performance of multiple clinic locations within the assigned area. This role ensures that all clinics operate efficiently, maintain high service quality, and comply with healthcare standards and internal policies. The Area Operations Manager will work closely with clinic managers, dentists, and operational teams to optimize patient flow, improve operational processes, and achieve business performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations across multiple clinic locations to ensure consistent service quality and operational efficiency.
Lead, supervise, and support clinic managers and operational teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
Monitor and improve patient flow, clinic productivity, and overall patient experience.
Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery across all clinics.
Analyze operational performance, financial reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities and drive business growth.
Ensure all clinics comply with healthcare regulations, internal policies, and quality standards.
Collaborate with dentists, clinic staff, and management teams to address operational challenges and improve service delivery.
Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Prepare regular operational reports and provide insights to senior management.
Utilize Microsoft Office or Google Workspace to support reporting, operational analysis, and documentation.
Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Travel frequently between clinic locations within the assigned area to monitor performance and provide operational support.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in healthcare, dental clinics, or multi-branch service businesses.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing multiple clinic locations or operational areas.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and develop clinic managers and operational teams.
Solid understanding of healthcare or dental clinic operations, including patient flow, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent service quality across clinics.
Ability to analyze operational performance, financial reports, and KPIs to drive business improvement.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including coordination with dentists, clinic staff, and management teams.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and patient service excellence is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace for reporting and operational analysis.
Willing to travel frequently between clinic locations within the assigned area.
