Hiring: Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CSMO)


We're currently searching for a Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CSMO) for a well-established Indonesian group with a significant international business presence.  This role is intended for a senior commercial leader with proven experience building scalable B2B sales organizations, strengthening commercial governance, and driving growth across global markets.  The successful candidate will initially be engaged as an Advisor/Subject Matter Expert (SME), working closely with the leadership team to strengthen commercial strategy, sales governance, organizational capability, and market development initiatives. There is strong potential for the role to evolve into a permanent executive leadership position. 


Mandatory Requirement

- Proven experience supporting international market development across North America, the Middle East and Europe


Key Responsibilities

- Assess and strengthen the overall commercial and go-to-market strategy

- Build scalable sales structures, governance frameworks, and performance management systems

- Improve pipeline management, forecasting discipline, CRM adoption, and key account management practices

- Develop commercial capabilities and leadership effectiveness within the sales organization

- Establish repeatable commercial processes, systems, and best practices to support long-term growth


Ideal Candidate Profile

- Indonesian Citizen

- Current or Former Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Sales Officer, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, VP of Commercial, VP Sales, Managing Director, or equivalent

- Proven experience managing commercial organizations with annual revenues exceeding IDR 500 Billion

- Strong international B2B commercial experience across multiple countries and regions

- Demonstrated success in building sales organizations, commercial operating systems, governance frameworks, and scalable growth platforms

- Experience working within founder-led, owner-managed, or family-owned businesses undergoing transformation

- Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels

- Fluent in English. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish, or other relevant business languages) would be an advantage.
