Position Summary:
We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team in Uluwatu, Bali. As a Pastry Cook, you will prepare a variety of desserts, baked goods, and sweet items that align with the restaurant’s menu and style. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a range of desserts, pastries, cakes, and other sweet items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist with the preparation of doughs, batters, fillings, icings, and other pastry components.
Follow production schedules and recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
Decorate and present desserts attractively for service and display.
Ensure all pastry items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated following food safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized pastry workstation, including tools, equipment, and storage areas.
Assist in creating and testing new dessert recipes or specials as directed by the Pastry Chef or Head Chef.
Follow all food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Communicate with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert service with other courses.
Support the team with other kitchen duties as needed during service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role (preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate).
Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking fundamentals, and dessert presentation.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for making high-quality desserts.
Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Basic English speaking skills required
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
