Senior QC Engineer (Electrical)

We are looking for a high agility-person who experienced as electrical engineer quality control for project management of Data Center. This position will be based in Bekasi Regency, West Java. This role is responsible for planning, inspecting, and verifying that all electrical works within the data center – including power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, grounding, and low-voltage systems – are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities 

• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and method statements prior to execution. 

• Perform inspection and testing of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, ATS/STS panels, busway, and grounding/bonding systems. 

• Witness and verify cable testing, megger testing, protection relay testing, and load testing. 

• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and QC inspection reports. 

• Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure of corrective actions. 

• Coordinate with electrical contractors/subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70/70E). 

• Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for electrical systems. 

• Ensure proper documentation and handover packages (QC dossiers, as-built verification, punch lists). 

• Conduct site walkdowns and audits to verify workmanship quality and safety compliance. 

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and third-party inspection bodies during inspections and audits. 
  

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 

• Minimum 8–10 years of QC experience in MEP/electrical construction, with at least 3–5 years on data center or mission-critical facility projects. 

• Strong knowledge of power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, and grounding systems. 

• Familiarity with data center industry standards (Uptime Institute Tier standards, TIA-942). 

• Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), or equivalent QC/QA certification is an advantage. 

• Experience with commissioning processes (Level 1–5 / IST) for data centers preferred. 

• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and single-line diagrams. 

• Good command of English (written and verbal) for reporting and coordination.

• Willing to work on-site at the data center project location (Jakarta and West Java).

• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project schedules.

• Good communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Computer literate (MS Office; QC software/tools such as BIM 360, Procore, or similar is a plus).
