Senior Devops - (Banking Project)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technology team in the banking industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure while supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, infrastructure teams, and security teams to streamline application delivery and ensure system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud and on-premises infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor system health, application performance, and infrastructure availability, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and application reliability.
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes comply with banking security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Manage configuration, release management, and environment consistency across development, testing, and production.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Maintain system documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Experience working in the Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
• Proven experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, SSL/TLS, and VPN technologies.
