Aviation Security Team Leader (English Speaker)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise AVSEC officers in daily security screening operations (passenger, baggage, and cargo).

• Ensure all aviation security procedures comply with regulations and company standards.

• Monitor and control screening effectiveness and security activities in assigned area.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and briefing to team members.

• Handle security incidents and escalate issues when necessary.

• Coordinate with airport authorities and related stakeholders.

• Prepare reports on security performance, incidents, and daily operations.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of security equipment.

Education & Certification:

• Minimum Senior High School (SMA) diploma; Diploma (D3) is preferred.

• Candidates with backgrounds in Aviation, Management, Security, or related fields are preferred.

• Must hold a valid AVSEC License with at least 3 months of validity remaining before expiration.

• Must possess a minimum Junior AVSEC Certificate.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an AVSEC personnel.

• Experience as an AVSEC Team Leader or Coordinator is preferred.

Competencies:

• Strong understanding of national and international aviation security regulations.

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.

• Familiar with aviation security SOPs and airport/hangar operational procedures.

• Demonstrates strong leadership and decision-making skills.

• Capable of managing teams and resolving operational issues effectively.

• Possesses good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

• Proficient in computer operations and Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to work under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
