Solar Design Engineer

We are looking for a Solar Design Engineer for our office in SCBD Jakarta.

Inecosolar is a fast growing solar company, subsidiary of Yinson Renewables, the renewables division of global energy infrastructure and technology company Yinson Holdings Berhad.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage complete system designs for solar systems such as electrical SLD, Layout Designs, Connection Diagrams, and Electrical Production Estimation using SketchUp, AutoCAD and PVsyst.

• Perform generation, cable and protection sizing calculation for residential, commercial and industrial projects.

• Conduct on site survey autonomously with potential client.

• Analyze power logging data.

• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the viability and suitability of solar energy

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales/BD Manager, project managers, and installation technicians, to ensure seamless project execution

• Manage the handover documents after installation

• Travel across Indonesia for installation phase from planning until commissioning when required

• Manage and create As Build and post-installation drawings

• Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, industry standards, and regulations to continuously improve system design and performance

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Solar Engineering.

• Have competency certificates in Construction or Electrical field will be a plus.

• Good knowledge in SketchUp, AutoCAD and PVsyst.

• Intermediate English proficiency or higher is required.

• Team player who can work under minimum supervision.

• Have a strong desire to learn and seek continual personal and professional development.

• Possess excellent communication and coordination skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to manage the workload, make priority and delegate when necessary.

• Ability to design off grid systems will be a plus
