Production Manager (Garment)

Our client is a well-established export-oriented garment manufacturer specializing in premium outerwear for the US and European markets. They are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee overall garment production operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality targets are achieved.  

• Manage large-scale manufacturing operations with high-volume production capacity.  

• Ensure smooth production flow, manpower allocation, line balancing, and production scheduling.  

• Monitor daily production performance and implement corrective actions when required.  

• Collaborate closely with IE, Quality, Technical, PPIC, and other related departments to ensure operational excellence.  

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.  

• Participate in solving technical and operational challenges related to high-end outerwear manufacturing.  

• Develop and strengthen the capability of production teams and supervisors across the production floor.  

• Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and workplace safety regulations.  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from any discipline.  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior production management role within the garment manufacturing industry.  

• Proven experience in managing garment factories with 1,000 sewing machines or above.  

• Strong expertise in high-end outerwear production, including:  Down garments, Coats, Seam-sealed garments, Laser & bonding garments  .

• Deep understanding of garment manufacturing operations and Industrial Engineering practices.  

• Strong knowledge of garment quality standards and production control systems.  

• Familiar with automation technologies and machinery used in outerwear manufacturing.  

• Able to provide technical solutions and support process improvements for complex garment products.  

• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.  

• Mature, hands-on, and capable of managing large production teams effectively.  

• Fluent English communication will be an advantage.
