Industrial & Employee Relation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial & Employee Relation Specialist to join our growing team at PT. OCS Global Services (OCS Indonesia). In this full-time role based in Jakarta, you will play a key role in managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our valued employees.

What you'll be doing

• Advise and support managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and performance management

• Investigate and resolve employee complaints and issues in a fair and impartial manner

• Interpret and ensure compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations, and company policies

• Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement effective employee engagement initiatives

• Provide training and guidance to managers on best practices in employee relations

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee relations activities

• Stay up-to-date with changes in labor legislation and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or employee relations role, preferably within the service industry

• Thorough understanding of Indonesian labor laws and regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and pragmatic solutions

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
