Location: Zettabyte Pte. Ltd. – On-site, Yogyakarta

Working Hours: Full-time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Western Indonesian Time)

Internship Duration: 4 Months (Start on 2nd week of July)

Zettabyte is a software development company that focuses on the education sector. We work together with our multicultural team from our offices in Singapore, Bali, Yogyakarta, and Madagascar to create and produce tools that increase the quality of life for anyone who is involved in the education sector.

🧭 Job Description

We are looking for a Back-End Intern who is eager to learn and contribute to the development of functional web applications. This is internship with allowance as compensation for final-year students or fresh graduates from IT majors who have good logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and interest in back-end development.

As a Back-End Intern, you will assist in the application development lifecycle, support coding and debugging tasks, and work closely with developers, designers, and system administrators to help build and improve application features.

📌 Responsibilities

• Write code following best practices to contribute to the development of functional web applications.

• Assist in the complete application development lifecycle, with a focus on learning and contributing to coding and debugging tasks.

• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging application issues.

• Participate in UI testing activities to enhance application performance.

• Contribute to the creation of reusable code and libraries for future projects.

• Collaborate with developers, designers, and system administrators to understand and contribute to the identification of new features and enhancements.
  

✅ Requirements

• Final-year students (without any active class or active subject in university) / active student that can convert internship to credits / fresh graduates from IT majors are welcome.

• Good English skills, both oral and written.

• Good logical thinking and problem-solving ability.

• Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MongoDB or NoSQL databases, and version control systems like Git; familiarity with GraphQL and understanding of web development project structure is a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, AWS, and Jenkins is a plus.

• Committed to a 4-month internship program.

• Able to work full-time from an office in Yogyakarta.

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work in a team, demonstrate self-motivation, and pay attention to detail.
