We are hiring a Bookkeeper & Administrative Officer to support the operations of our affiliated Singapore-based business. This role is based on-site at our Batam office, where you will work alongside our existing team while focusing on the bookkeeping and administrative needs of the Singapore entity.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants exposure to Singapore business practices and international operations. Occasional travel to Singapore may be required for handovers, training, or document handling.
Bookkeeping
Record daily transactions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Issue and track sales invoices; record supplier invoices and expense claims
Perform bank reconciliations and monthly closing entries
Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers
Prepare monthly reports (P&L, AR/AP aging, cash position) for management review
Liaise with the Singapore-based accountant and corporate secretary on compliance matters (you will not be responsible for IRAS/ACRA filings directly)
Administration
Manage company correspondence (email, mail, document filing) for the Singapore entity
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and service providers in Singapore and internationally
Maintain organized digital filing systems (Google Drive / SharePoint)
Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and prepare meeting materials
Assist with travel bookings, expense reporting, and ad-hoc administrative tasks
Support the Director with general business operations
Requirements
S1 in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
1–3 years of relevant bookkeeping and administrative experience
Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) — daily communication with Singapore-based stakeholders will be in these languages
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or strong willingness to learn quickly with provided training)
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Willingness to travel to Singapore occasionally (passport required)
Prior experience supporting a Singapore-based company or international employer is a plus
Familiarity with Singapore business practices (invoicing, GST format, payment workflows)
Experience in a small-team environment where ownership is valued
