Key Account (Client Relationship Executive)

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for resolving client issues, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring seamless coordination among internal departments, terminal operations, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and other key stakeholders. It also plays a vital role in championing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality, safety, and overall operational performance.

Additionally, the position involves conducting market research and feasibility studies to identify customer needs, gather market intelligence, and evaluate the viability of potential business development opportunities. Responsibilities include producing reports, managing Q&A interactions, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

The role also serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships by understanding their logistics needs and aligning NPCT1’s services to meet those requirements.

Requirements:

• Preferably Bachelor's Degree or Master Degree from any major.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in key account management or logistics, ideally within the port, logistics and shipping lines industry

• Essential experience in Commercial and Sales background with good communication and negotiation.

• Fluent in English both written and verbally is a must. Proficiency in Mandarin is a huge plus point.

• Ability to analyze data and present insights using tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar.

• Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset.

• Proactive approach and attention to detail.

• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration.

• Solid operational understanding of container logistics.

• Commercial acumen and problem-solving.

• Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
