Furniture Drafter / CNC CAD Designer (Cabinet Vision, IMOS, TopSolid Wood)

Job Vacancy: Furniture Drafter / CNC CAD Designer

Location: Tonja, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia
Company: Tropical Home Solutions
Equipment: CNC drilling centers (WDmax Drill Tech), CNC cutting/sawing machines

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed shop drawings for furniture production

• Prepare CNC-ready files (drilling, cutting, milling)

• Develop nesting layouts and optimize material usage

• Define and control drilling logic (minifix, dowels, hinges, etc.)

• Work closely with CNC operators and the production team

• Ensure accuracy of dimensions, tolerances, and hardware

• Quickly implement revisions based on real production feedback

Requirements:

• Proven experience in furniture drafting/production design

• Proven Experience in Cabinet Vision, IMOS, Top Solid Wood program

• Strong understanding of furniture construction and joinery systems

• Clear understanding of CNC workflow (from drawing → machine)

• Ability to think in terms of production, not just design

• Detail-oriented, structured, and fast

• Basic English required (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus)

Software Requirements (Important):

• Experience with Cabinet Vision or similar furniture production software (highly preferred)

• OR experience with any software capable of CNC drilling + nesting workflow

• SketchUp (with plugins) is acceptable only if the candidate understands CNC production

• AutoCAD is a plus, but not sufficient alone

Nice to Have:

• Ability to create or adjust CNC programs/machine parameters

• Experience working directly with CNC machines (not only office work)

• Strong understanding of material optimization and cutting lists
