Internal Container Storage Assistant Manager

We are welcoming high caliber professionals to join our team as Internal Container Storage Assistant Manager under Logistic Department.

Responsibilities:

• Yard & Dispatch Operations Excellence

- Manage daily yard operations to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics flow

- Optimize truck queue management, dock allocation, and loading/unloading sequencing

- Ensure on-time dispatch aligned with customer service level targets (OTIF – On Time In Full)

- Monitor and reduce truck turnaround time and yard congestion

• Yard Planning & Capacity Optimization

- Develop and implement yard layout strategies to maximize space utilization

- Control container/truck positioning to support fast-moving SKUs and priority shipments

- Anticipate peak volumes and adjust yard strategy accordingly

• Integration with Warehouse & Transport

- Coordinate closely with warehouse teams to ensure readiness of goods for dispatch

- Align with transport planners on vehicle scheduling and route prioritization

- Ensure synchronization between physical operations and system transactions (SAP/WMS/YMS)

• Inventory & System Accuracy

- Ensure real-time accuracy of yard inventory (trailers, containers, staging units)

- Monitor system vs physical alignment and resolve discrepancies promptly

- Support proper execution of goods issue (GI) and dispatch documentation through SAP

• Safety, Quality & Compliance

- Enforce strict adherence to Unilever SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) standards

- Ensure all yard activities comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and internal SOPs

- Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox meetings, and risk assessments

- Lead incident investigation and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field

• Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, yard operations, warehouse operations (FMCG Preferred).

• Strong understanding of SAP, WMS, and/or Yard Management Systems

• Proven leadership experience in managing operational teams

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Strong knowledge of SHE, GMP, and operational compliance Fluent in English is a must

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
