Science Teacher
We are seeking a knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging Science Teacher to teach at the Primary and/or Secondary level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering dynamic and inquiry-based Science lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific literacy among students.
Job Description
- Lesson Planning and Implementation: Designing and delivering structured, engaging, and practical Science lessons in accordance with the curriculum and students’ developmental levels.
- Practical and Laboratory Activities: Planning and supervising safe and meaningful laboratory experiments and hands-on activities to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conducting formative and summative assessments to ensure students’ learning outcomes meet the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM) and providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Classroom and Laboratory Management: Maintaining a safe, organised, and inclusive learning environment, including proper management of laboratory equipment and materials.
- Student Guidance and Support: Supporting students’ academic growth and fostering responsibility, curiosity, and scientific ethics.
- Collaboration and Communication: Working collaboratively with colleagues and communicating effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
- Teaching experience at Primary and/or Secondary level is preferred
- Strong understanding of Science curriculum and laboratory safety procedures
- Good classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to deliver practical and inquiry-based learning
- Active proficiency in English is an advantage
