Job Responsibilites :
Tax Compliance & Reporting :
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, local taxes)
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in line with local tax regulations
- Reconcile tax balances vs GL (VAT, WHT, CIT accruals)
- Monitor tax payment schedules to avoid penalties and interest
Indirect Tax :
- Oversee VAT compliance for high?volume sales and distribution transactions
- Review VAT implication on : Trade promotions, discounts, rebates , Free goods / sample, Import/Export and Intercompany transactions
- Handle VAT audits, refunds, and over/under?payment analysis
Corporate Income Tax :
- Support CIT calculation and provision
- Assist in tax adjustment, deferred tax working & annual tax return preparation
- Maintain Tax schedules and supporting documentation
Witholding Tax management :
- Review and ensure correct WHT application on : vendor payment, services, Royalties, rentals, marketing fees etc.
- Coordinate WHT certificates issuance and reconciliation
Tax Audit & Authority Liaison :
- Assist in handling tax audits, queries & objections
- Prepare supporting documents & explanations for authorities
- Coordinate with external tax consultants and advisors
Business & Operational Support :
- Provide tax advice to commercial, manufacturing, procurement & all cross function related
- Support on tax impact assessment on current practice and propose for more compliance in practice
Process improvement & Controls :
- Improve tax compliance process & documentation and assist in Tax SOP update/development
- Support Internal Controls related to Tax
Qualification requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Finance
4-7 years experience on handling mix-off in house FMCG + Tax consulting
Strong exposure to VAT and operational tax issues Solid understanding of local tax laws and regulations (including the update)
Experience with ERP system and strong Excel and data reconciliation skills
