Atlantic Coast mortgage is seeking a Reverse Mortgage Processor who can ensure loans move smoothly and efficiently from application to final approval. In this role, you’ll be responsible for gathering and organizing all necessary documentation, making sure loan files are accurate and complete for processing and underwriting. You’ll serve as the main point of contact throughout the process, helping keep everything on track from initial qualification through final approval.
Job Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and process reverse mortgage loan file pipeline
- Strong knowledge of compliance rules and regulations
- Reviews loan applications for accuracy and completeness, ensuring standards are met
- Communicate with borrowers to compile all necessary documentation and keep them informed throughout the process
- Proficiency in understanding the loan profile to pre-underwrite conditions, with the goal set to manage and streamline the loan process with underwriting
- Process documents, including income, assets, and employment, and analyzing liabilities in a paperless work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Reverse Mortgage Loan Processor or Loan Officer Assistant
- Previous experience using Quantum Reverse platform
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
