COORDINATOR - MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL and PLUMBING (MEP)

Working Location: Site Based – West Sumbawa

Working Schedule: Regular working days 5:2 (Monday-Friday)

Some of your duties will include:

• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for mining support facilities (housing, camp, infrastructure).

• Report directly to the Construction Superintendent and support overall construction milestones.

• Manage and supervise the MEP team, assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues.

• Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications; ensure proper implementation.

• Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to integrate MEP works smoothly.

• Monitor contractor performance, conduct inspections, and verify quality of MEP installations.

• Perform quality control activities related to MEP works, including inspection, testing, and compliance verification.

• Laise close communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders and other departments, ensuring construction progressing as per plan and target completion achieved.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during MEP execution.

• Maintain records of MEP activities, inspections, and progress reports.

• Support tender preparation and technical evaluations related to MEP scope.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.

• 8–12 years of MEP coordination experience in construction projects, with strong field exposure.

• Proven ability to read and analyze MEP drawings and integrate them with civil/structural works.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and MEP systems.

• Experience managing teams and coordinating with contractors and consultants.

• Familiarity with safety compliance, QA/QC procedures, and tender processes.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

• Good command of English and computer literacy.
