Responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of telecommunication sites.
Manage field technicians and subcontractors, ensuring that all hardware, software, and structural components are operating optimally while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Core Responsibilities:
Site Deployment & Supervision: Oversee the physical construction, and the installation of antennas, coaxial cables, and transmission dishes
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Supervise routine checks and emergency repairs on hardware and software for both BTS and BSC (Base Station Controller) systems
Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Schedule, monitor, and coordinate third-party contractors and field engineers to ensure efficient site rollouts
Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure that all tower sites comply with health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards, often utilizing monitoring systems or structural surveys
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including VSAT, Fiber Optics, and hardware from vendors
Management: Proficiency in project management, validated by certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional)
