About the role

We are seeking a DAMKAR Kelas A professional to join our team in Demak, Central Java, on a full-time basis. This is a critical position within our operations, focused on fire safety, emergency response and disaster management. As DAMKAR Kelas A, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating emergency response operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and protecting personnel and assets. This role represents a vital component of our commitment to maintaining safe working environments across all our facilities and operations.

Key responsibilities

1. Lead and coordinate fire prevention, emergency response and disaster management operations

2. Conduct regular fire safety inspections and risk assessments across company facilities

3. Develop and implement emergency response procedures and protocols

4. Provide training and conduct drills for staff on fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures

5. Maintain and inspect all firefighting equipment and emergency response resources

6. Respond promptly and effectively to fire incidents and emergency situations

7. Document incident reports and maintain comprehensive safety records

8. Collaborate with local fire departments and emergency services

9. Ensure compliance with all national and local fire safety regulations and standards

10. Develop and update emergency preparedness plans

What we're looking for

1. Valid DAMKAR Kelas A certification and qualification from recognised Indonesian fire safety authorities

2. Extensive experience in fire safety management, emergency response or disaster management

3. Comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian fire safety regulations, standards and best practices

4. Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure situations

5. Excellent communication and training abilities to educate staff on safety protocols

6. Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding emergency response duties

7. Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping procedures

8. Knowledge of environmental health and safety integration is advantageous

9. Ability to work collaboratively with external emergency services and government agencies
