Job Purpose
The Industrial Relations & Administration Staff is responsible for supporting the Industrial Relations unit in ensuring labor compliance and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the IR Supervisor, this role balances the execution of day-to-day administrative tasks—such as attendance monitoring and contract management—with foundational support in handling employee relations and internal labor compliance to ensure a productive and harmonious work environment.
Job Details
Industrial Relations Support: Assist the IR Supervisor in managing labor compliance documentation and supporting daily Industrial Relations activities, including resolving routine employee issues in accordance with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
Contract Management: Support the administration of non-permanent employee data, including the drafting, monitoring, and renewal of employment contracts (PKWT), under the guidance of the IR Supervisor to ensure accurate reporting to relevant labor authorities.
Attendance & Timekeeping: Monitor and update employee attendance records, with a specific focus on maintaining accuracy for non-permanent employees (PKWT) and interns.
Employee Inquiries & HC Support: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding work schedules, company regulations, and general HC administration as guided by the team.
HC Administrative Processes: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee databases and provide administrative support for routine HC activities, internal audits, and external labor inspections.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day HC and IR administrative processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law, Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, or other related fields.
Minimum 1 year of working experience in Industrial Relations, Human Capital Administration, or Personnel Operations is preferred; fresh graduates with strong interest and relevant internship experience in IR are welcome to apply.
Solid basic understanding of Indonesian labor regulations, particularly concerning fixed-term employment (PKWT) and general employment compliance.
Familiarity with attendance administration, employee data management, and documentation processes (either manual or system-based).
Strong detail-oriented mindset and well-organized, with a willingness to manage administrative tasks while maintaining compliance.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to handle employee inquiries professionally and support the supervisor in managing conflict situations at the staff level.
Able to work effectively under the supervision of the IR team within a dynamic manufacturing/factory environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) is required for reporting and data management purposes.
Good English skill is a must.
