What you’ll do
- Assist in preparing and processing sales invoices and official receipts for timely BIR reporting.
- Support purchase documentation ( supplier invoices, VAT/withholding verification) to ensure compliance.
- Check and validate liquidation reports and supporting documents from project teams or staff.
- Reconcile invoice records, vendor statements, and basic accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining accounting records for audits and BIR inspections.
- Help prepare supporting schedules for VAT, withholding tax, and other BIR-related returns.
- Perform clerical duties: data entry, scanning, photocopying, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Coordinate with supervisors to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow.
What we’re looking for
- At least a high school graduate; accounting/bookkeeping students or graduates preferred.
- Basic knowledge of sales and purchase invoicing, VAT, and withholding tax concepts.
- Familiarity with BIR documentary requirements is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Excel and basic accounting software or willingness to learn.
- Honest, reliable, and able to work under deadlines.
