Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end crewing operations for company vessels, including tugboats, barges, floating cranes, and other supporting vessels
Plan and monitor crew rotation, sign on/sign off schedules, and manpower allocation
Coordinate recruitment, selection, and deployment of qualified seafarers
Ensure all crew certifications and documents are valid and compliant with STCW, MLC, and Flag State requirements
Maintain and update crew database and personnel records
Coordinate crew travel arrangements, medical check-ups, training, and certification renewals
Monitor crew performance, discipline, and welfare onboard
Handle crewing reports, budgeting, and manpower planning
Liaise with vessel masters, operations team, manning agents, and external authorities
Ensure compliance with company policies, maritime regulations, and safety standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in crewing or shipping operations
Strong understanding of maritime regulations and crew certification requirements
Experience handling tugboat, barge, bulk carrier, tanker, or transshipment vessels is preferred
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Proficient in Microsoft Office and crewing management systems
Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
