Game Master and Community (GMC)

Job description:

• Play and test game online update and patch. (Actively communicate with developer)

• Design schedule patch and run online game weekly event.

• Fast learning and understand a game that under his/her responsibility.

• Have a good understanding of game community.

• Design and run social media and discord event. 

• Create articles about Game (product, event, etc).

Requirement

• S1 from any major. Gamer hobby is preferred.

• Have proficiency in English.

• Have experiences in playing online game especially MMORPG genre.

• Innovative, creative, self-motivated.

• Able to work independently, under pressure, manage multiple priorities.

• Willing to travel if needed.

• Live or willing to live in Surabaya.

• Able to work in day or night shift 

• Fresh grad is welcome.

• Have the ability to use social networking and moderating a forum.

Deskripsi:

• Melakukan testing patch dengan detail pada game dan mengirimkan bug report kepada developer.

• Memahami cara memproses rekap data-data event menggunakan aplikasi google sheet.

• Mendesain jadwal patch dan menjalankan event mingguan game online.

• Mampu mempelajari dan mengerti tentang game yang akan menjadi tanggung jawab.

• Memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang game beserta komunitasnya.

• Mendesain dan menjalankan event game dan social media.

• Membuat artikel mengenai Game (produk, event, dll).

• Aktif berkomunikasi dengan developer dengan baik, sabar, dan sopan.

Persyaratan

• S1 dari semua jurusan. Memiliki hobby game sangat diutamakan.

• Memiliki kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang baik.

• Memiliki pengalaman bermain game online terutama genre MMORPG.

• Inovatif, kreatif, memiliki kemampuan untuk motivasi diri.

• Mampu bekerja mandiri, di bawah tekanan, mengatur banyak prioritas.

• Bersedia bepergian jika diperlukan.

• Tinggal atau bersedia tinggal di Surabaya.

• Mampu bekerja pada shift pagi, siang, atau malam jika dibutuhkan. 

• Lulusan baru dipersilakan. 

• Memiliki kemampuan menggunakan jejaring sosial dan memoderasi forum.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Game Master and Community (GMC) to join our dynamic team at PT Wave Wahana Wisesa. As a GMC, you will play a crucial role in managing and fostering our growing gaming community in Surabaya, East Java. What you'll be doing

• Organise and host engaging gaming events, tournaments, and activities to enhance the overall gaming experience for our community

• Actively moderate online forums, social media channels, and community platforms to ensure a positive and inclusive environment

• Respond to community inquiries and provide excellent customer support to address any issues or concerns

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted campaigns to attract new community members

• Continuously monitor industry trends and community feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

• Mentor and guide community members, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie within the gaming community

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a community management or customer service role within the gaming industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse audience

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to effectively address community-related issues

• Familiarity with modern gaming platforms, trends, and community dynamics

• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture and community dynamics

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently to achieve set objectives
