Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Travel Consultant will advise clients on travel options, design customized itineraries, and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements. Daily responsibilities include handling flight and hotel reservations, managing visa and travel document requirements, and recommending suitable tour packages, transportation, and insurance. The role involves providing responsive customer service, addressing inquiries and issues, and ensuring all travel plans are accurate, timely, and aligned with client preferences and budgets. The Travel Consultant will also collaborate with partners and internal teams to maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products, promotions, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to plan and coordinate comprehensive travel solutions.
- Experience managing Travel Arrangements, including flights, accommodation, ground transportation, and tours.
- Proficient in Customer Service, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and resolve issues effectively.
- Hands-on experience with Reservations systems and booking platforms for tickets, hotels, and packages.
- Knowledge of visa processes, travel documentation, and basic travel insurance options.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
- Comfort working with office software and online travel tools; familiarity with GDS or similar systems is an advantage.
- Fluency in Indonesian and good command of English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Prior experience in the travel, hospitality, or tourism industry is preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
