Health & Safety Technician

HEALTH & SAFETY TECHNICIAN

Support the implementation of Health & Safety program and activity to ensure compliance of EHS objective (zero accident), organize Health & Safety training to increase awareness, assist in accident investigation and provide report for all accidents occured in GSC Indonesia while implementing QHSE-En accordingly.

As the Health & Safety Technician, you will:

• HS Program Implementation:

  • Support the implementation of Health & Safety program, guideline, and procedure to ensure every activity in GSC Indonesia complies with EHS safety objective of zero accident.

  • Implement Health & Safety program and activities such as Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment & Control aligned with risk management principles to ensure the safety of every employee and company's assets and complies with local and global regulations.

• HS Training Implementation:

  • Organize the Health & Safety training/ briefing for all employees to increase safety awareness in each activities within GSC Indonesia.

  • Maintain and organize records of HS training to ensure compliance for all employees.

• HS Investigation: 

  • Support investigation process of all accident occured within GSC Indonesia's to determine root cause and actions needed for further activity.

  • Assist preparation of investigation report which consist of the root cause of the accidents and corrective actions in order to prevent the similar accidents in the future.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor's or Diploma 3 degree from Environmental Engineering or Health Safety Engineering or other relevant discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety.

• Able to communicate in English both written and oral.

• Possess valid AK3 Umum (General Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Expert) certificate.

• Possess knowledge of Health & Safety principles and related areas (including Risk Assessment, Technical Safety Standards, Chemical Management, Emergency Procedures, High Risk Activities , Contractor Safety Management, and other HSE practices)

• Collaborative

• Adaptable, flexible, and open to change.
