Requirements:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, preferably in the Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech industry.
• Hands-on experience in automation testing for Mobile Applications (Android & iOS), API, and Web Applications.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Katalon Studio, Postman, and Rest Assured.
• Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodology, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter.
• Knowledge of security testing principles, particularly OWASP Mobile Top 10.
• Experience in database validation and testing using PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of containerization technologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience in mobile device compatibility testing across multiple devices and operating system versions.
Required Tools & Technologies:
• Automation Testing : Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Katalon Studio, Postman, Rest Assured.
• Development Tools : Visual Studio Code, NodeJs, Java SDK, Git.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube.
• Database: PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Grafana, Prometheus.
• Device Farm Platforms: BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab (or equivalent platforms).
Responsibilities:
A) QA Automation Engineering.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Develop automated test scripts for Mobile Applications (Android & iOS), APIs, and Web Applications.
• Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and release processes.
• Perform regular maintenance and optimization of automation scripts.
• Conduct defect analysis and root cause analysis to ensure product quality.
• Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, QA Engineers, Business Enablement, Production Support, and Business Teams to ensure high-quality product
delivery.
B) Continuous Testing & CI/CD Integration.
• Manage automated regression testing and scheduled test executions.
• Implement parallel test execution to improve testing efficiency and reduce execution time.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain test reporting dashboards and quality metrics.
C) Quality Governance.
• Establish and enforce automation coding standards, version control practices, and repository management.
• Continuously improve automation framework maintainability and test coverage.
• Reduce defect leakage through effective test automation strategies and quality assurance practices.
• Ensure transparency, accuracy, and consistency in test reporting and quality metrics.
D) Mobile Compatibility & Device Coverage Testing.
• Ensure application compatibility across multiple Android and iOS versions, from the minimum supported version to the latest stable release.
• Execute testing across a wide range of devices, including low-end, mid-range, flagship, and multi-vendor devices (Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo,
Huawei, iPhone, etc).
• Validate application behavior under various network conditions, including Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G, slow or unstable connections, offline mode, and
reconnection scenarios.
• Perform performance and stability testing, including application launch time, memory consumption, crash monitoring, battery usage, and
foreground/background process handling.
• Ensure compliance with mobile security requirements and operating system policies, including rooted/jailbroken device detection, SSL pinning, and
secure data storage practices.
• Produce testing deliverables, including device compatibility matrices, compatibility test reports, and defect analysis reports by device and operating
system version.
• Execute testing using real devices, emulators/simulators, and device farm platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab, or
equivalent solutions.
