DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibility:

1. Dynamic & Cross-Functional Role

• Be part of a highly dynamic and innovative DevOps team with flexible responsibilities, ranging from engineering, automation, and system design to platform administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Continuously evaluate, prototype, and implement solutions based on evolving business, operational, and technical challenges.

2. End-to-End DevOps Delivery & Platform Ownership

• Design, build, and manage end-to-end DevOps pipelines and solutions, including CI/CD workflows, system integrations, and deployment automation.

• Manage and support cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS ECS, networking, load balancers, and databases) to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.

• Oversee containerized application deployment and runtime operations (Docker, ECS, Nginx, Tomcat or similar platforms).

3. Monitoring, Reliability & Production Support

• Implement and maintain observability solutions (logging, monitoring, alerting) using tools such as OpenSearch, Dynatrace, or similar.

• Proactively monitor system health, performance, and transaction flows, ensuring compliance with SLA and uptime requirements.

• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous service improvement.

4. Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency, deployment speed, and system reliability.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across DevOps processes, including system performance, deployment strategies, and operational workflows.

5. Security, Compliance & Best Practices

• Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, secure key/certificate management).

• Manage secure configurations, secrets, and certificates (e.g., TLS, keystores, HSM integrations where applicable).

• Support vulnerability remediation and system hardening activities.

6. Collaboration & Innovation Mindset

• Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

• Demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose practical, scalable solutions.

• Contribute to research, innovation, and adoption of new tools, technologies, and best practices within the DevOps space.

Requirements:
 

• Diploma and higher

• Minimum 2 years in a software development environment, using any programming language.

• Candidates who have more than 5 years of working experience will be considered as a Senior

• Must be passionate to solve complex and dynamic problems, finding possibilities instead of showstoppers.

• Must be familiar with contemporary technologies and practices.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like (Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI)

• Experience using Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence.)

• Generally experienced with Software development methodologies using any platforms/programming languages.

• Exposure with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) will be nice to have but not mandatory.

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind building a scalable application will be nice to have but not a strict requirement.

• Interest in Machine Learning & MLOps would be an added advantage.
