## Role Summary

Take ownership of real new business growth - from identifying new target accounts and opening relevant conversations to successfully closing deals.

You have a strong sense for new business opportunities and know how to open doors at the right companies? You see yourself as a hunter and enjoy identifying relevant contacts, starting meaningful conversations, and turning them into concrete opportunities?

As New Business Sales Manager (m/f/d) in our AI & Solution Services Business Unit, you will take ownership of winning new B2B customers - from identifying suitable target accounts through to successful closing.

As part of the AOE Group, we develop custom software solutions and tailored consulting services for companies facing complex digital challenges. You will work closely with our technical experts and bring exactly those topics into the conversation where AOE can create real value.

**Important:** This is not an existing-customer or traditional account management role. Your focus will be on outbound sales, active customer acquisition, and building new business.

Responsibilities

  • You identify new target customers and market potential in the B2B environment and turn them into concrete sales approaches.
  • You research relevant decision-makers, sales triggers, and customer needs, and develop tailored outreach approaches.
  • You conduct structured discovery conversations, qualify needs, decision-making processes and budgets, and turn them into robust sales cases with clear next steps.
  • You develop qualified opportunities further and independently manage the sales process through to closing.
  • You position AOE convincingly with potential customers and translate our services into clear business value.
  • You maintain your pipeline in a structured way in the CRM, work with clear forecasts, and contribute ideas on how we can further improve our new business processes.

Qualifications

  • You have experience in B2B new business sales, including complex sales cycles and IT, software, SaaS, or digital business solutions that require explanation.
  • You see yourself as a hunter and enjoy opening up new customer potential, starting conversations, and actively driving opportunities forward.
  • You have experience qualifying leads and opportunities and can realistically assess customer needs, decision-making processes, and closing potential.
  • You communicate convincingly, listen carefully, and can explain complex topics clearly and in a customer-oriented way.
  • You work independently, in a structured way, and with a strong sense of ownership - from the first contact through to successful closing.
  • Ideally, you already have some experience with modern sales tools, AI-based workflows, or automation opportunities.
  • You have business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
