Responsible for handling procurement activities (local & import), including purchase order processing in the system, supplier communication, cost-effective purchasing, and ensuring timely delivery to support operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage local and import purchasing activities
Create Purchase Orders (PO) in the system (ERP/E-Procurement)
Communicate and coordinate regularly with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, delivery status, and issues
Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers
Monitor PO status and shipment schedules to ensure on-time delivery
Ensure purchased goods/services meet required specifications
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments
Coordinate with user departments for procurement planning and material requirements
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry, Fishery, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
2–3 years experience in Procurement / Supply Chain (manufacturing preferred)
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Familiar with ERP systems (Ecount preferred)
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or in teams
Experience in Aqua Feed / Animal Feed industry is an advantage
