PT South Pacific Viscose (SPV), a member of Lenzing Group Austria, is located in Purwakarta, West Java. Strategically located between the capital city of Jakarta and West Java’s capital, Bandung, Purwakarta Regency was once better known as an industrial area. As the largest viscose site of the Lenzing Group, the Indonesia site has been a producer of botanic Viscose Staple Fibers and Sodium Sulfate since 1982. Lenzing's wood-based botanic fibers are used in the textile and nonwovens industry and manufactured with eco-friendly processes.

for Procurement area, we are seeking individuals with a strong experience in procurement to apply for the Procurement Specialist - Deputy Manager Level position based in our plant.

Your Ideal Profile:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Business Administration

• Min 5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement is a must.

• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, intercultural sensibility, result-oriented proactive approach

• Effective skills in SAP and MS-Office, cost breakdown structures, international law/contracting and tools for supplier evaluation programs. 

• Team player with excellent communication skills, as well as a responsible, independent, resilient and assertive character

• Have good communication & English-speaking skills

• Willing to be assigned in our plant.

Purpose of the job:

Manage and execute of procurement activities incl. development and successful implementation of commodity and supplier related strategies. Professional execution of all procurement related process steps according to existing procurement directives and guidelines. Contribution to the further development and global roll-out of procurement directives, guidelines and procedures as well as process improvements in the relevant SAP system landscape for Purchase-to-Pay

Process responsibility:

Develop and implement strategic commodity & supplier management with the aim to realize cost savings and other strategic procurement priorities in alignment with Procurement Manager. Ensure process compliance and process improvements in the Purchase-to-Pay process, e.g. by improving Maverick Buying rate, documentation transparency, etc. Cooperation with all global procurement member to get information required for their respective commodities.
