Senior Business Development (Funding)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development (Funding) professional to join PT. Kredit Utama Fintech Indonesia. This is a full-time position based in Kemayoran, Jakarta Raya, offering an exciting opportunity to drive growth and expansion within our funding division. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities in the financial technology sector, with a specific focus on funding solutions. You will play a pivotal role in establishing partnerships, developing revenue streams, and supporting the company's ambitious growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

1. Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the funding and fintech sectors

2. Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company's funding portfolio and market presence

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, investors, financial institutions and potential partners

4. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the funding landscape

5. Lead negotiations and close partnerships or funding agreements that align with company objectives

6. Prepare comprehensive business proposals, presentations and pitches to potential partners and investors

7. Collaborate with internal teams including product, finance and operations to ensure seamless implementation of new business initiatives

8. Monitor and report on business development metrics and key performance indicators to senior management

9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities

10. Identify and mitigate risks associated with new business ventures and partnerships

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in business development, particularly within the financial services, fintech or funding sectors

2. Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, negotiating and closing significant business deals and partnerships

3. Strong understanding of the funding landscape, including venture capital, private equity, debt financing and alternative funding mechanisms

4. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at senior levels

5. Proficiency in financial analysis, business modelling and understanding of funding structures and terms

6. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly

7. Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented mindset

8. Knowledge of the Indonesian fintech and financial services market is highly advantageous

9. Fluency in both Indonesian and English is essential

10. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field; MBA or advanced business qualification preferred

11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
