The role
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Tech Lead Cybersecurity to lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy, oversee security operations, and guide the security engineering team in protecting systems, networks, applications, and organizational data.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the cybersecurity team in daily operations and strategic security projects.
- Develop and execute the company’s cybersecurity roadmap and security initiatives.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration review activities.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, and IAM solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to implement secure architectures and best practices.
- Handle security incidents, investigations, and incident response processes.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and OWASP.
- Create and maintain security policies, SOPs, and documentation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
- At least 2 years of experience in a lead or senior security engineering role.
- Strong understanding of:
- Network Security
- Cloud Security
- Endpoint Security
- Application Security
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and OWASP.
- Hands-on experience with security platforms/tools such as: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, Palo Alto or equivalent technologies
- Experience in incident response and threat analysis.
- Familiar with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
