Job Description:
- Record and validate payments from vendors and customers.
- Process, issue, and resolve disputes related to bills and invoices.
- Review and monitor AP and AR aging reports.
- Maintain and validate outstanding credit records.
- Perform financial data reconciliations on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Analyze financial information, identify key insights, and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly income statements related to revenue and corporate activities.
- Conduct research and compile supporting documentation for finance-related investigations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Respond to requests, escalations, and follow up with internal teams regarding finance-related issues.
- Support tax-related activities, including preparing tax documentation, assisting with tax filings, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and supporting audits, investigations, and tax reviews when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Prior accounting experience in a foreign company or PMA (Foreign-Owned Company) is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Indonesian taxation (VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax compliance) is required. Exposure to international taxation, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level) and Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets and Google Docs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Willingness to learn and master new software, systems, and online tools.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus, but not required.
- Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
