About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Purchasing Staff to join our team at PT Samick Indonesia, a leading manufacturing and logistics company based in Cileungsi, West Java. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in our procurement and inventory management operations, contributing to the overall success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Researching, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers to meet our production and operational needs

• Negotiating favorable terms and prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement

• Preparing and processing purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement-related documentation

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and identifying potential shortages

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production and distribution requirements

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the procurement function

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical purchasing practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry

• Fluency in English is a must

• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize procurement processes

• Proficient in using procurement-related software and ERP systems

• Thorough understanding of inventory management principles and best practices

• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
