About the role
Sky-Walker Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher (Assistant) to join our teaching team in Tabanan, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting primary education and fostering a positive learning environment for our students. As an Assistant Primary Teacher, you will work collaboratively with the lead teacher to deliver engaging lessons, support student development, and contribute to the overall success of our primary education programme. This role is essential in ensuring that every child receives the individualised attention and support they need to thrive academically and personally.

What you'll be doing
Assisting the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum
Supporting individual students and small groups with learning activities and providing additional academic support where needed
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
Monitoring student progress and contributing to the collection of assessment data to inform teaching strategies
Assisting with classroom administration, including record-keeping, preparation of learning materials, and organisation of resources
Supporting behaviour management and helping to establish positive routines and expectations within the classroom
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement strategies that promote student wellbeing and personal development
Participating in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and training to enhance teaching practices
Communicating with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns that may arise
What we're looking for
A qualification in education, teaching, or a related field, or equivalent experience working with primary-aged children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy classroom environment
Knowledge of current primary education best practices and a commitment to continuous professional development
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, whilst also taking initiative when needed
Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of learners
Experience working in an international or multicultural educational setting is advantageous
Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are desirable
