Automation Engineer

Job Description

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities for automation systems and production equipment.

• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve machine reliability.

• Develop, review, and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) and total productive maintenance (TPM) programs.

• Support installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance of new equipment and automation projects.

• Monitor equipment performance and propose automation improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions for equipment-related issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production targets and operational excellence.

• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.

• Provide technical support and training related to automation systems and equipment operation.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintenance standards, and company procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation, maintenance, or manufacturing engineering.

• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including motors, inverters, servo systems, sensors, and control devices.

• Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

• Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).

• Familiar with industrial networking and communication systems.

• Knowledge of robotic systems and automation technologies is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
