Senior IT Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routing, switching, and network security.

• Monitor and support network operations to ensure network availability, performance, and reliability across on-premise and cloud environments.

• Administer and maintain Virtual Machine (VM) environments, cloud-based services, and Synology NAS systems, including storage, access permissions, and backup management.

• Troubleshoot network and system issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement preventive actions.

• Provide Tier 1–3 IT support for hardware, software, Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 users.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls, monitor network threats, and maintain compliance with IT security policies.

• Manage IT assets, vendor coordination, onboarding/offboarding processes, and maintain accurate IT documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Network Administration, Network Operations, Infrastructure Support, IT Operations, or Cybersecurity environments.

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including LAN, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPNs, TCP/IP, firewalls, and network security.

• Hands-on experience with Virtual Machine (VM) administration, cloud-based infrastructure/services, and network monitoring tools.

• Experience administering Synology NAS, troubleshooting Windows/macOS environments, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.

• Experience handling network operations in cybersecurity-focused or security-conscious environments is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance support requests and infrastructure projects effectively.
