ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading Indonesian tax consulting firm serving domestic and multinational clients across advisory, litigation, and transfer pricing. We are seeking an HR Manager to own our talent function from structured hiring to capability building. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role reporting to senior leadership, designed for an HR practitioner who combines operational discipline with strategic thinking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition
• Lead full-cycle recruitment across all functions and seniority levels, from junior associates to senior consultants
• Design and continuously refine competency-based assessment frameworks, including structured interviews, technical assessments, and group exercises modelled on professional services standards
• Manage recruitment pipelines, track hiring metrics, and report progress to leadership through structured dashboards and periodic reviews
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, professional associations, and talent communities to support proactive sourcing Talent Development
• Design and manage structured development programmes, including onboarding, internship tracks, and role specific capability building
• Administer and act on 360-degree feedback, performance review cycles, and individual development planning processes
• Identify learning gaps through data and stakeholder consultation; curate or design interventions accordingly
• Support succession planning and career pathing frameworks in partnership with functional leads
HR Operations & Compliance
• Ensure all recruitment and employment practices comply with Indonesian labour law and relevant ministerial regulations
• Maintain accurate HR documentation, including employment agreements, assessment records, and audit trails
• Contribute to policy review and SOP development as the HR function continues to grow
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Law, or a related discipline
• Minimum 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrable depth in both recruitment and talent development
• Strong command of competency-based interviewing, structured assessment design, and psychometric principles
• Working knowledge of Indonesian employment law and HR compliance requirements
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken), with active use in client-facing or professional services contexts, is an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS or ATS platforms
• Professional HR certification (SHRM, CHRP, CPDP, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or financial services preferred
• Exposure to organisational development, compensation benchmarking, or industrial relations
