Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEPS) Excellence Manager

About the role

PT. OCS Global Services (OCS Indonesia) is seeking an experienced Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEPS) Excellence Manager to join our team in Jakarta Raya. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing and optimising the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities and projects. As the MEPS Excellence Manager, you will be responsible to delivering high-quality engineering consulting, design, project execution, and technical advisory services while driving operational excellence, organizational performance, and continuous improvement. The role ensures engineering solutions meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and business objectives, while optimizing project delivery, resource utilization, profitability, and customer satisfaction

Key responsibilities

1. Lead the planning, design, review, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering solutions.

2. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments of MEP systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal functionality.

3. Provide technical guidance and quality assurance throughout project lifecycles.

4. Ensure all MEP operations comply with ISO standards and internal quality management systems.

5. Lead training and development programmes for MEP technicians and facility staff to enhance operational excellence.

6. Monitor energy efficiency and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact. Promote innovation and the adoption of sustainable engineering practices.

7. Optimize project profitability and resource utilization, Analyze project margins and identify cost optimization opportunities, Support pricing strategies and commercial proposals, Drive revenue growth through efficient service delivery.

8. Promote the adoption of BIM, digital engineering tools, and smart building technologies. Evaluate new engineering technologies and industry best practices.

9. Drive digital transformation across engineering operations.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. 10+ years of experience in MEP engineering, building services, or engineering consulting.

3. At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

4. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex projects.

5. Experience in engineering consulting, construction, facilities management, or integrated technical services.

6. Strong knowledge and practical experience with mechanical systems, including HVAC, chilled water systems, and thermal management.

7. Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, emergency power systems, and electrical safety standards.

8. Solid expertise in plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems.

9. Proven experience in project management and coordination of complex MEP installations.

10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.

11. Professional certifications such as HVAC technician certification, electrical safety certification, or relevant MEP management credentials are highly desirable
