Dynamics 365 (D365) Functional Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, upgrade, and support projects.

• Conduct business process analysis and gather requirements from stakeholders across various departments.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.

• Configure and optimize Dynamics 365 modules to align with business processes and best practices.

• Facilitate workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, and solution demonstrations.

• Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and architects to deliver integrated solutions.

• Support data migration, system integration, testing, and deployment activities.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify issues, and coordinate resolutions.

• Provide functional expertise and recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including functional design documents, process flows, and training materials.

• Deliver end-user training and support change management initiatives to drive user adoption.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and provide ongoing post-go-live support.

• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of best practices and delivery standards.

• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality expectations.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 8 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 with proven experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Dynamics 365 implementation projects.

• Strong functional knowledge of one or more Dynamics 365 modules such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, Sales, Customer Service, Project Operations, Commerce, or Human Resources.

• Experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.

• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 configuration, workflows, security roles, and reporting capabilities.

• Experience working with data migration, integrations, and testing activities.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead functional workstreams.
