Marketing & Community Lead, Oasis Padel Ungasan
Full-time. Permanent (PKWTT after 3-month probation). On-site.
About Oasis Padel
Oasis Padel is building the home of padel in Indonesia: premium courts, a welcoming community, and the kind of after-game hang that makes you want to come back twice a week. We are growing fast, and the people we hire now will shape the brand for years.
About Ungasan
Ungasan sits on the Bukit peninsula, a community of villas, beach clubs, lifestyle brands, surf studios, and a deeply international resident base. Our players are world-travelers, Bali-based founders, fitness professionals, and weekend visitors from Jakarta and Singapore. The B2B opportunity here is hospitality and lifestyle: hotels, villa managers, beach clubs, gyms, surf schools, retreats, and lifestyle brands looking to activate.
The Mission
South Bali gets more padel courts every month, and some compete on price. Your job is to make Oasis the one people choose anyway. You will rebuild and grow court occupancy, turn casual players into regulars, and fill our quiet weekday hours while new venues open around us. This is part event producer, part business development, part community builder. If you love padel, love bringing people together, and want to own a number while you do it, this is your role.
Reports to: General Manager
Works with: Operations Manager, Videographer, brand partners, corporate clients
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
. Grow weekday and off-peak occupancy.
. Launch and sustain a full weekly calendar of games and social nights.
. Sign your first two to three corporate or hospitality partners.
. Rebuild lapsed players into active regulars.
Key Responsibilities
. Plan, promote, and run a full weekly calendar of games: Americano, Mexicano, King of the Court, mixers, ladders, mini-tournaments, social nights, and themed events across all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced, women's, kids).
. Build and grow the player community: greet new players by name, remember their level and partner preferences, recover lapsed members, and keep group chats and member channels active.
. Own B2B outreach: pitch corporate bookings, league sponsorships, and team-building packages to companies, hotels, villa groups, beach clubs, gyms, surf schools, and retreats. Hit a monthly corporate booking target.
. Source and close sponsorships (beverage, apparel, equipment, lifestyle) that bring revenue and lift the venue experience.
. Build relationships with Bukit hotel concierges and villa rental groups so they recommend us as the padel destination.
. Direct the Videographer on a shot list to capture content from every game, event, and tournament. You set the plan, they execute it.
. Work with the Operations Manager on court scheduling, event-linked bar promotions, and keeping events staffed and stocked.
. Use Bali community channels (WhatsApp groups, Facebook communities, lifestyle influencers) to reach players already in the area.
. Represent Oasis Padel at outside events (local tournaments, partner venues, lifestyle activations) to build the brand beyond our walls.
. Track and report weekly: occupancy, bookings, new members, repeat-play rate, corporate pipeline, sponsorship pipeline, social growth.
Who You Are
You remember names. You walk into a room and start introducing strangers to each other. You text the player who has not booked in three weeks just to check in. You see an empty court at 3pm on a Tuesday and feel personally responsible. You do not wait for permission. You build, you call, you organize. You love padel enough that talking about it for nine hours straight feels like a day off, and you like being measured on whether the courts are full.
Required Qualifications
. Familiar with padel: you understand how the game is played and the formats we run (Americano, Mexicano, King of the Court), and you know why matching levels matters for a good game. You do not need to be an elite player, but you need to be credible and comfortable around players of all levels.
. 1 to 2+ years in event management, community management, sales, hospitality, or sports and lifestyle club operations. Strong volunteer or side-project organizing can count if the skills are there.
. An existing network in the Bali community (hospitality, lifestyle, or tourism), or a clear plan and proven instinct for building one quickly.
. Fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia.
. Comfortable on camera and on a microphone. You will host events and announce mini-tournaments.
. Confident with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Business, RedNote) and Canva or similar, and comfortable reading basic analytics.
. Available evenings and weekends. Most of our community plays after 5pm and on weekends. This is non-negotiable.
. Based on or near the Bukit peninsula, or ready to relocate.
What We Offer
. Base salary set to your experience. This is a community and events role at a growing venue, not a senior corporate-sales seat, and we will be straight about the range from the start.
. Performance bonus tied first to occupancy and repeat play, then to corporate and sponsorship revenue. Real upside if you fill the courts.
. Permanent employment (PKWTT) after a 3-month probation.
. BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in line with Indonesian labor law.
. Court time and member access for personal play.
. A team that takes the work seriously and the social seriously.
How to Apply
Send your CV and a short cover note (max 250 words) on why padel and why Ungasan, with links to any communities, events, or programs you have built. Then tell us two things: three Bukit partners (hotels, villa groups, beach clubs) you would pitch in your first week, and one event you would run in your first month.
