Our client is a diversified Japanese retail multinational company. As their entertainment business, they operate one of the largest cinema complexes in Japan. In the past few years they've been expanding across Southeast Asia.
About the Role
Our Client is seeking a creative Promotion Producer to plan and execute integrated promotional campaigns for theatrical and OTT releases. This role covers social media, digital marketing, PR, events, and media coordination, working closely with the Distribution Manager to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute integrated 360° promotional campaigns for each release title.
- Organize and manage press conferences, premieres, exhibitions, and screening events.
- Develop content strategies and manage KPIs for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
- Build and maintain relationships with film critics, influencers, and media partners.
- Coordinate promotional activities involving talents, voice actors, directors, and overseas guests.
- Manage external partners including advertising agencies, production houses, and design teams.
- Develop and manage promotional budgets, performance analysis, and reporting.
- Manage approval workflows for promotional materials with the Distribution Manager and rights holders.
- Monitor competitor campaigns and market trends to improve promotional proposals.
Key Requirements
- Experience in promotion or marketing within the film, entertainment, or media industry.
- Experience producing events such as press releases, screenings, and exhibitions.
- Practical knowledge of social media and digital marketing including KPI setup and analytics.
- Experience working with media companies, PR agencies, and influencers.
- Business-level English communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and project management abilities.
- Ideal candidates: Experienced in promoting Japanese, Korean, or Asian content including anime and films; Proven experience in handling integrated campaigns for theatrical or OTT releases; Experienced in coordinating promotional materials with Japanese rights holders or studios; Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing; Network with film writers and critic communities; Able to combine creative thinking with accountability for business performance; Capable of designing effective communication strategies for media, influencers, and consumers; Strong execution skills with the ability to manage projects backward from deadlines and release dates.
